NumbersInFrench.com is published by Digital Signet, a UK company. This page lists every piece of measurement and browser storage the site actually uses, so you can check it against what loads. What runs on this site
Google Analytics 4
Measurement ID G-YDQY4650MD, loaded on every page with anonymize_ip switched on. It sets Google Analytics cookies in your browser and tells us how many people read which pages. We do not use it to build advertising audiences and we do not link it to any advertising product.
One localStorage key
The flashcard trainer writes your review schedule to localStorage under the key nif-flashcards-v1: for each card, which of the five boxes it is in and when it is next due. It never leaves your browser and we never receive it. Clear it with the "Reset my schedule" button on the flashcards page, or by clearing site data for this domain.
Nothing else
There is no account, no sign-in, no newsletter, no comment form and no shopping basket. The number converter, the quiz, the drills and the worksheet generator all run in your browser; what you type into them is not transmitted to us.
No advertising
No advertising network runs on this site. There is no Google AdSense tag, no header bidder, no retargeting pixel and no third-party ad iframe on any page. If that ever changes, this page changes with it before the tag ships.
Audio
The play buttons use the Web Speech API built into your browser. On most desktop browsers the voice is on your device. On some phones and on some browser builds the speech engine is a service run by the browser or operating-system vendor, which means the word being spoken can be sent to that vendor by your browser. That path is between your browser and its own vendor; it does not come to us.
Links out to other sites
Reference pages link to primary sources such as the Académie française, the CNRTL, Le Robert, Larousse and the OQLF. A small number of pages also link to commercial language-learning services; those links are marked with the sponsored attribute and are disclosed on the about page. Whether a link is commercial has no bearing on which sources are cited or which number forms are presented as standard. Once you follow any outbound link you are on that site and its own privacy policy applies.
