FAQ
Is there a free printable French numbers 1-100 chart?
Yes. The 1-100 reference chart above lists every number from un to cent in French, four columns to a page. It is free for personal and classroom use. To save it as a PDF, press Ctrl+P (Windows) or Cmd+P (Mac) and choose "Save as PDF"; the page strips its dark background for print and fits A4 or US Letter.
How do I get a French numbers PDF without signing up?
There is no download form or signup. Use your browser's print dialog (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P) on this page and pick "Save as PDF" as the destination. That produces a clean, print-formatted PDF of whichever chart you have scrolled to: 1-100, the 70-99 cheat sheet, the ordinals reference, or the blank worksheet.
Do you have a French numbers worksheet with an answer key?
Yes. The blank worksheet above lists 16 numbers spanning the easy ranges and the tricky 70-99 vigesimal zone, with an empty column for students to write the French. A separate answer key follows, generated from the same verified engine, so teachers can fold or print it separately.
Is there a printable French ordinal numbers chart (1st to 20th)?
Yes. The ordinals reference above covers premier through vingtième with masculine and feminine forms and the correct abbreviations (1er, 1re, then 2e, 3e and so on, never 2ème in formal style). Add -ième to the cardinal for every ordinal from 2 upwards; only premier / première is irregular.
Why is 70 to 99 the hardest part of a French numbers chart?
Standard French builds these from twenties: 70 is soixante-dix (60+10), 80 is quatre-vingts (4x20), and 90 is quatre-vingt-dix (4x20+10), so 97 is quatre-vingt-dix-sept. The 70-99 cheat sheet above colour-codes the arithmetic and shows the simpler Belgian forms (septante 70, nonante 90) alongside for comparison.
